Franchisees serve as marketing consultants to local business owners, developing customized ‘call-to-action’ advertising campaigns, to help increase each client’s customer base. After securing advertising campaigns, the Franchisee works with our graphic design department, where the artwork is completed. The publication is finalized and forwarded for printing and distribution. SmartSaver distributes to over 430,000 homes every month to support a vast variety of businesses with their local area marketing campaigns.

What basic skills do I need to operate a SmartSaver Franchise?
SmartSaver franchisee would need to have a number of key attributes. They include the ability to cold call, communicate with clarity, build client rapport and the ability to control cash flow. They would also need to be self disciplined and organize their day to ensure maximum outcomes.
Is previous experience essential owning your own business?
No. Whilst industry experience would be regarded as advantageous it is not a requirement in your application. More fundamental is a positive attitude and competence. The most common comparison to this franchise is that your day will be similar to that of a sales rep, but instead of working for a wage, you will be growing your own business and reaping net profit from your area. All the operational side of design, print, and letterbox delivery is taken care of by the Franchise Support Office.
Is training provided?
Yes. Upon final approval by the directors you will undergo 10 days of intense training which will focus on product knowledge, basic selling techniques, customer service, financial reporting and marketing initiatives. These skills will provide you with the essential ingredients to assist you in operating a successful franchise operation.
Do I get to choose where I can operate a SmartSaver franchise?
Areas are subject to availability, and the average area includes a substantial business area including approximately 50,000 to 80,000 homes.
